Terminating Your Lease in Fort Lauderdale
Life has a way of making things complicated sometimes, doesn’t it? You go along, then bam! – here comes a curveball that forces you to make some change or other. People lose jobs, or get hit with some huge, unexpected expense. They marry, have kids, and, sometimes, sadly, divorce. They pick up new interests that require hauling equipment around, such as camping gear or drum kits. All of these sorts of curveballs can make a person wish he could get out of a present lease – sometimes in order to get out of leasing altogether, or sometimes because he needs a different sort of vehicle.
If any of this sort of thing applies to you, we can help! And we’ll make it terminating your lease go as smoothly and easily for you as we possibly can.
There are three main ways of terminating a lease: to simply fulfill your present lease, to terminate your lease early, or to do a lease transfer.
A natural death
The most common way to terminate a lease is to just fulfill the terms of your original leasing contract, allowing your lease to “die a natural death.” If your present lease is about to end, this is the way to go, even if you’re wishing it would end a little earlier. When your lease is up, just give us a call and we will come and pick up the vehicle you’re no longer wanting. We don’t want you having to drop off your present vehicle and then have to worry about how you’ll get back home. We don’t want our customers having to call cabs or bum rides off of family or friends at any point when they lease with us!
We will bring all the necessary paperwork and conduct the inspection right there, on the spot. And you can trust that we don’t make the process scary! Our customers don’t have to worry about hidden costs or overly-scrupulous inspections that have as their goals finding things to penalize them for.
Ending Your Lease Early
If your lease isn’t ending “soon enough” for you, you can end it early. There will typically be some sort of financial penalty involved, but it won’t be anything harsh. We don’t want to ever lose you as a customer if you ever find yourself wanting to lease again, that’s for sure!
If you’re wanting to end your lease before it’s due to expire naturally, just call us up! And know that you do have the option of trying a lease transfer!
Lease Transfers
A lease transfer is our favorite way for our customers to end their leases early. A lease transfer is your allowing a third party to take over your present lease, assuming all its responsibilities and remaining payments. That third party benefits by being able to lease a new-to-them vehicle without taking on a full term lease and without having to make any down payments. You benefit by being freed-up from your present lease, freed-up to either lease nothing or to lease a vehicle that better suits your present needs. And we win by having not just one, but two happy customers!
If you’re interested in doing a lease transfer, give us a call and let’s talk! We have a list of customers, some of whom may be wanting a vehicle exactly like the one you’re no longer wanting. We’ll do all the work of getting you and that customer together!
Re-leasing a Different Vehicle
After you’ve terminated your present lease, you might not want to lease again for a while. Or you might have wanted to end that lease so you could get into a different vehicle that better suits your changed life. If the latter’s the case, you’ve got tons of options! We’re able to lease to you any new model Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Subaru, Smart, Toyota, Volkswagen, or Volvo made. From coupes, to sedans, to convertibles, to SUVs, to vans and minivans, to trucks – we’ve got the vehicle you’re after!
